Knoxville will be the prime destination for 325 of the top antique dealers from across the nation as the 14th Annual Knoxville Antique Show opens for a two-day run, June 7th and 8th. Approximately 950 tables and booths will be loaded down with quality antiques and hard-to-find collectibles at the Merchants I-75 Expo on Clinton Highway at Merchants Drive. The acres of paved parking lots and the exhibit hall are all on one level allowing easy access for the elderly or handicapped. All parking is free.
Larry Acuff, show chairperson for the sponsoring East Tennessee Antique Bottle and Collectibles Society, remarked, “This show continues to grow each year, and this year is certainly no exception. This year we will be filling the entire 91,000 square feet of exhibit space with exceptional dealers and their high quality merchandise.” Acuff also emphasized that this exposition is strictly an antiques and collectible show with dealers from 30 states and England.
An Antique Appraisal Clinic will be held both days under the direction of area antique expert, John Coker. This is always a popular feature of the show.
Friday, June 7th, from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m., is reserved for Early Buyers only with an admission fee of $15.00 per person. Saturday, June 8th, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. is open to the General Public for a $5.00 admission fee per person.
