Monday June 17th at approximately 9:00 am, Blount County Sheriff officer Neal Porter responded to a report of a burglary at the business of Seymour Lawn and Garden located at the corner of Chapman Hwy. and Old Sevierville Pike in South Knoxville. Jeremy McNutt arrived at work around 8:00 a.m. Monday morning to find the door of the business open, the cash register gone and an undisclosed amount of cash taken. “When I walked up, the door was wide opened. I don’t know how long it had been open,” stated McNutt.
Officer Porter fingerprinted the door looking for clues as to who may have broken in. Owner Chad Williams is offering a $500 reward leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons involved. “I want to catch the people who did this” stated Williams.
