Game times for the first third of Tennessee’s 2002 football schedule have been established, highlighted by the Sept. 21 Southeastern Conference showdown against Florida at Neyland Stadium. The Vols and Gators will kick off at 3:30 p.m. Eastern time before a nationally televised CBS Sports audience.
UT plays its first four games within the Volunteer State borders, beginning with an Aug. 31 date against Wyoming at the Nashville home of the NFL Tennessee Titans. ESPN2 will provide the telecast for a 4:30 p.m. Central time start. A pair of evening kickoffs round out the early-season slate, with Middle Tennessee visiting Sept. 7 and Rutgers returning to Knoxville Sept. 28. Both games begin at 7 p.m. Eastern time.
