The driver of a 1999 Nissan Sentra was slightly injured Thursday when her vehicle left the road and went into a ditch heading southbound on Chapman Highway.
She ran off the road and rode the ditch for about 30-feet before flipping the car over on its’ top.
“She just ran off the road and flipped her vehicle,” said Sevier County Sheriff’s Deputy Toby Merrit, the first responding officer on the scene. “She had abrasions on her shoulder and her leg was jammed up under the dash but she was talking and moving. We had to wait on the ambulance and the Seymour Fire Department to safely lift her up out of the car.”
Merrit said that he got the call at 1:34pm on Thursday, May 6th.
