With the holidays upon us and so much to do, like gift getting, cooking and decorating too. It's no surprise this time of year more accidents happen to put a damper on your holiday cheer. But there's no need to fear, Mr. No-No the #1 Proactive Child Safety Character in America is here to help make the festivities safer and with less mishaps this year. Without further ado here are my safety tips for you, you and you.
· When wrapping gifts do not hermetically seal the gifts with tape and ribbon.
· When opening gifts, make sure to designate ONE ADULT to be the keeper of the Scissors or Knife.
· When throwing away wrappings, designate ONE ADULT to be the keeper of the trash bag.
· Keep animated characters, lights and breakable decorations higher than children's eye level.
· Make a barrier between the Christmas tree and children.

  • Make a barrier between the fireplace and children.
Never piggyback more than two light strands on a plug.
When using extension cords, use electrical tape to secure the connection.
Keep children out of the kitchen for the Holidays.
Put your decorations away as soon as the holidays are over.
A BONUS TIP FROM MR. NO-NO!

    BAGS VS. WRAPPING PAPER:
When wrapping gifts, the decretive bags and some colorful tissues are by far the easiest way to go, but for the little ones it's not nearly as fun to open. So with that said, wrapping paper for the children is the way to go. Just remember to not hermetically seal the gifts with tape and ribbon.
Mr. No-No realizes some of these tips might be commonsense, but you would be amazed how many children end up getting hurt regardless. To learn more about Mr. No-No and all he does for Proactive Child Safety against Dangerous Products and Places please go to www.MrNoNo.com .
