The Knoxville Symphony Chamber Orchestra will travel to Sevierville on Sunday, December 9th to perform a free concert featuring the sounds of the season. 

The concert, entitled Holiday Wishes, will take place at 3:00 PM at the Sevierville Civic Center, 200 Gary Wade Blvd.  Lucas Richman, KSO Music Director, will conduct the concert.  The performance is sponsored by Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant, Dr. Don Ellenburg of Allergy and Asthma Associates, Sevier County and the City of Sevierville. 

The program includes light classical and holiday favorites such as Rimsky-Korsakov’s “Polonaise” from Christmas Eve, Leroy Anderson’s A Christmas Festival, Maestro Richman’s Reindeer Variations and Victor Herbert’s March of the Toys.  The concert will also include an audience Sing-Along.   

The Knoxville Symphony Orchestra consists of more than 80 professional musicians under the leadership of Music Director and Conductor Lucas Richman. The orchestra gives more than 250 performances a year to a total audience of more than 160,000 people throughout the region.
