During a recent Sunday evening Service at Grace Baptist Church the musical styling’s of the reverend Bob Holbrook could be heard.  The reverend not only spoke but also performed a mini-concert for the congregation.

The Reverend Holbrook is from Olivet, Michigan and is said to have traveled with his parents through most of the country performing southern gospel singing accompanied by what he describes as “old time preaching.”

The congregation of the church were entertained by the concert on the evening of Feb. 18 and then continued with another performance at another venue in the area.

“He creates his own digital sound tracks.  He made a typical pleasant Sunday evening a very special one,” said an associate pastor.

Grace Baptist Church has many community events taking place such as a men’s group and programs for ages youth through teens.

“Anything that brings us all closer to Jesus and the love he gives us is just fine by me,” said Holbrook.
