The Herald’s Spin It to Win It contest was met with big smiles from local residents who took part in the second opportunity to be awarded a slew of prizes April 15.

Although many prizes were given, three of the most excited participants were Mary King, Scott McFalls, and Erica McFalls.

Scott, who won an airplane tour of the Smokies to be given by Herald Publisher Joe Karl, was excited to have gotten one of the most sought after prizes of the contest.

“I’m very excited to be able to take this airplane tour of the Smokies and spend some time talking with Joe,” Scott McFalls said. “I always read Joe’s editorial every week in the Herald.”

Erica McFalls also took home a good value with a 10 percent off certificate from Impromptu Home and Garden Accessories. And Mary King felt pretty good about getting a discounted repair from Chapman Enterprises as her prize.

The Herald would like to thank everybody who came by to play Spin It and Win It, our sponsors, and, of course, our readers.

Look for future events where there will be more opportunities to Spin It and Win It with the Herald.
