A broadside collision on Macon Ln. adjacent to Chapman Highway left four people injured Sunday, according to a report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
85-year-old Clyde Loposser was travelling southbound on Chapman Highway when he attempted to make a left turn onto East Macon Ln., reports show. Loposser, who was driving a 2006 Ford Taurus, failed to give the right of way to a Dodge Ram truck traveling northbound on Chapman Highway, resulting in the collision.
According to reports, Loposser was charged with failure to yield in the aftermath of the incident. Both drivers and their respective passengers were injured as a result of the crash.
All four persons were later discharged from UT Medical Center.
