A man is being sought after robbing a South Knoxville store on Friday.
The Knox County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man who robbed a South Knoxville Dollar General on Friday afternoon at approximately 4 p.m. According to the initial investigation, a white male who appeared to be armed with a handgun entered the Dollar General store, located at 3130 Circle Oak Dr., and demanded money. Reports show that the man left in a blue Ford Ranger truck.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 40-50-years-old, 5’8”-5’10” and 160-170 pounds. According to reports, he was wearing a black zip-up hoodie, grey or beige-toned pants, white tennis shoes and sunglasses at the time of the robbery.
A security camera managed to snap the above photo of the suspect. Anyone with information is asked to contact KCSO’s Major Crimes Unit at 215-2243.
