SOUTH KNOXVILLE- According to Knox County Health Department Environmental Health Director Ronnie Nease he expects to see an increase in the number of mosquitos throughout both the city and county this week.

Nease said although there hasn’t been a significant jump in the number of mosquito numbers who have entered traps, there have has been a noticeable visible increase.

“We have been getting a lot of phone calls asking us to spray throughout the City and County,” he said. “We will not spray for nuisance mosquitoes.”
